That Was Ugly

Well I'm glad Arnason and Svatos chose to show up. The trouble is no one else did. Maybe Tucker and Hannan too, but aside from them, a very weak effort. Everyone looked like they were just going through the motions, and Raycroft could stop a beach ball tonight.

On paper, this game would have appeared to be the easiest match up so far this season (especially with LeCaire hurt for Columbus), but that was not the case tonight. It's also a little disturbing that the Avs have only scored 3 goals in the last three games. Before that they were averaging 4 per game. This team is suddenly looking very mediocre.

Another thing that needs to be mentioned is Joe Sakic's wingers. To put it simply, he needs new ones. Well, new one. Wolski and he work well together, but they need a finisher badly. Joe's shot is not what it once was, and Wolski is known for his playmaking skills. Shanahan is now considering all offers, but isn't this team old enough? Not to mention he's a former Red Wing (gag).
