What a weird offseason. Following a summer where the likes of Wade Redden, Brian Campbell, and Christobal Huet were signed for over 5.5 million each, the salary cap finally came into effect. Patience wasn't a virtue for free agent players this summer; if you waited, you lost out. Let's review how little some of the "big" available free agents ended up making:
