This organization is pathetic. Over the last week, the media has been swarming around this team like seagulls over a dead carcass. When the dust settled, Patrick Roy did not become head coach, nor did he become GM. Colorado still has no GM with the draft only a month away.
I'm pretty sure this debacle is going to screw up any chance of signing Swedish goalie prospect Jonas Gustavsson. With Roy as coach/GM, he'd have pretty good incentive to sign here (as would other UFA's). Because he's not, the Avs are going into next season with the same horrible players and horrible coaching staff. The last person Tony Granato swayed into coming to the team was Darcy "16 points" Tucker.
