Well, it finally happened. I don't think anyone is too surprised; in three seasons as GM, Giguere complied a mediocre 120-107-19 record, missing the playoffs twice.
Right now Pierre Lacroix is GM, and I hope it stays that way. PL has a flare for the dramatic, so he might be able to pull some deals out to fix this team for next season. And as long as he doesn't trade our 1st round pick, Stewart, or Stastny, there's no way he can screw things up worse than they are currently.
